Our story

A herbal broth recipe handed down through the family

Geumosangil sits in Geumosan’s Baeksuk Alley. It has been open since 1972, and a mother and daughter have kept its flavor going for more than 50 years.

The main ingredients are Korean-grown. The herbal broth for the baeksuk and samgyetang is brewed from ssanghwa-tang herbs such as Rehmannia root (processed), Cnidium rhizome, Polygonatum root (Solomon’s seal) and licorice root.

The herbs are all chosen from plants growing wild around Mt. Geumosan.
